Under the slogan 'A Christmas among all' has been announced on Tuesday the program, that the Council of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena, has prepared for this Christmas and, a year, will extend through the city and its neighborhoods and councils.
The inauguration of the municipal Bethlehem and the Christmas lighting last Tuesday, December 5, gave way to the program that has been presented in full on Tuesday, December 12, and that contains a wide variety of recreational and cultural activities, and that have presented before the media, the mayor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba and the Councilor for Culture and Education, David Martínez.
The city will again fill the streets with activities, especially children's, with the Christmas House, Papa Nöel's House, Casa del Cartero Real, a Christmas Photococall and animation parades.
In addition, from December 22 to January 4, there will be a giant inflatable park in the esplanade of Heroes de Cavite.
The program concentrates the activities on the days when the children are on vacation.
In addition to the recreational activities, the program contains educational activities for the youngest, such as the 'Winter Scenes', which contains ten works designed for children.
This year, the theatrical performances will take place in two different stages, at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, in Plaza San Francisco and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
"We wanted the activities to be educational as well as fun, we believe it is very important to work in this educational theater and transmit values ​​such as interculturality, friendship, equality", explained the mayor of Culture and Education.
The Christmas activities of the City Council will also come to the neighborhoods and councils.
Some of them are playgrounds, musical parades, parades for children, a tourist train and as a novelty, a meeting of Christmas crews with the participation of five gangs.
The mayor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, explained that, for the third consecutive year, the celebrations of Tardebuena and Tardevieja will be held on the 24th and 31st, respectively, between 12:00 and 6:00 pm in the Plaza de San Francisco.
The groups that will liven up these celebrations will be: 'Jesús Ríos en concierto', 'Los Vecinos del Cuarto', 'Antonio Hidalgo and Los Happys' and 'El Intocables de Elliot Ness'.
In addition to these concerts the festive program is dotted with musical performances in all its variants with performances by bands, choirs, rondallas, or cuadrillas.
Citizens who want to know the nativity scene of the municipality will also be able to do it through the Nativity Route that runs six births, and is organized by the council of Celebrations.

In addition to Celebrations and Education and Culture, other councils, such as the Infrastructure, Citizen Security or Sports, have been involved in this Christmas program, which will culminate in the afternoon of January 5 with the traditional Cabalgata de Reyes.
