On Monday the attention to the victims of crimes of the EU will be analyzed, the mass media in the information treatment with victims and the police actions in the interventions with victims of crimes in Spain.
On Tuesday the victims will talk about roads, computer harassment, sexual abuse of the child in the family and victims in Latin America, as well as the victims in the constitutions, the psychological repercussions in these and the victimization in the business fabric.
On Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 December Campus of the UCAM in Cartagena will host the IX National Conference of Victimology, organized by the Victimology Foundation and the Degree in Criminology of the San Antonio Catholic University under the title of 'Specific Victimologies in a globalizing context. '
Specifically, from 4:00 p.m. the director of the Chair of Criminal Law of the UCAM, José María Caballero, will analyze the attention to the victims of crimes of the EU;
after which the Head of Programs and Informative of the Territorial Center of TVE Murcia, Juan Tomás Frutos, will reflect on the informative treatment with victims in mass media;
and the Commissioner of the National Police in Cartagena, Ignacio del Olmo, will speak on 'police actions in interventions with victims of crime in Spain'.
For Tuesday morning the presence of the president of the Association of Victims of Traffic of the Region, José Francisco Alcolea, is expected to talk about 'Victims and victimizers in the environment of road victimology', who will be followed by the intervention of the director of the forensic expert laboratory of Murcia, the judicial expert Francisco José Luna, who will speak on 'Victimological processes in the new technologies: computer harassment', and the judicial expert of the Spanish Society of Forensic Criminologists and Criminologists María José Delgado who will reflect on the 'Victimology and family' from the point of view of the expert praxis before the sexual abuse of the minor in the field of the family.
To conclude the morning, the president of the Victimology Foundation, Emilio José García, will announce the conclusions of his extensive experience on victims in Latin America.
In the afternoon, there will be a round table with professors María Pérez, Isabel Alcaraz and Sergio Murcia to analyze how the victims are taken into account in the Spanish Constitution and those of other countries.
The conference will conclude with a psychological vision on the victims of the hand of the vice-dean of Psychology Francisco José Moya and the member of the Law Research Group Cesar Augusto Giner, as well as with the victimization in the business, under the dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences and the Business of the UCAM, Gonzalo Wandosell.
