This Wednesday it was held in the social dining room of Cartagena Caritas 'Jesus, teacher and pastor', located on Juan Fernandez Street, a meal of coexistence between a representation of the municipal government team and volunteers of this charity.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the councilor of Good Government, Juan Pedro Torralba, the councilor for Citizen Security, Francisco Aznar, the Councilor for Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, the Councilor for Social Services and Mediation, participated in this coexistence. Social, Carmen Martín del Amor, and the delegate councilor of Equality, David Martínez.
The reason that gave rise to this initiative, which has taken place after the daily service to the beneficiaries of this dining room, has been to thank the work done by the volunteers of the entity during the recent humanitarian crisis in Cartagena with the massive arrival of boats with migrant people.
