The first edition of the 'Memorial Rosendo Carrión' will be held this Wednesday, December 6, at the San Juan Bosco football field.
The city council of Cartagena supports this championship in memory of the soccer player-8 who passed away last year.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor of Sports, Ricardo Segado, will attend the events prior to the championship at 11:00 hours.
The memorial matches will start at 11:30.
At that time the first semifinal will begin.
The tournament will conclude at 1:00 pm with the final of the soccer tournament.
The modality will be football-7 with two-time matches of 12 minutes each.
In the semifinals they will face AFCT Amateurs-AD Trinidad and CD Dolorense-CD Lapuerta.
Rosendo Carrión García passed away, with 45 years of age, on December 6 of last year after suffering a faint in a triangular football-8 veterans, who disputed with the AD Trinidad in the San Juan Bosco field.
This coming Wednesday marks one year of his loss, the championship he played goes on to bear his name as a permanent reminder of his person.

Parallel to the soccer tournament, the Dolorense Sports Club, in collaboration with the San Juan Bosco Center and the Association of Football Clubs of Cartagena y Comarca (AFCT), resumes its solidarity campaign to collect non-perishable food.
