The matter will be taken to the extraordinary plenary session required by both formations

On November 30, at the meeting of spokespersons convened for the purpose by the mayor, there was the exceptional circumstance of the withdrawal of the motion in which MC Cartagena and Cartagena Sí Se Puede (CTSSP) requested a Commission of Inquiry into the contract for drinking water supply in Cartagena and the vicissitudes of it.

The need of the commission is motivated by the conclusion of the extraordinary work of control and control of the technicians of the area of ​​Sustainable Development, as well as the imminent emission of the reports on the contract commissioned to external technical assistance.

Also, after the municipal involvement in the Pokémon operation at the request of Mayor José López, which is added to the one previously carried out by Podemos Región de Murcia, possible ways of illegal financing, trips paid to councilors of the PP and tenders for doubtful works have been known. , among other issues more than relevant.

Given this scenario, our municipal groups can not remain passive or condescending.

It is time for political action to respond to the needs and demands of citizens.

For that reason, we will urge, through the extraordinary plenary session that these two political formations propose, the constitution of a Commission of Investigation of the "water plot" in Cartagena, trusting that the rest of the groups support it, although they prevented its debate a week ago.

Also, will be accommodated by both groups, as the second issue to be discussed in the aforementioned extraordinary plenary session, ASEPUCAR's request, to expressly resolve an appeal that dozens of citizens made in 2004 against the agreement of the Municipal Plenary in which it was approved the modification of the contract and an extension in favor of HIDROGEA of 25 years, until 2042, against the opinions of the legal council of the Region of Murcia.
