Last Sunday three people were injured when colliding two vehicles in the municipality of Cartagena.
The accident took place at around 1:00 p.m. on the road from La Palma to Cartagena.
As a result of the collision one of the vehicles was embedded in a fence with its occupants trapped inside.
Cartagena firefighters had to intervene to free the trapped so that members of the Murcian Health Service could assist them.
Local police agents from Cartagena and Guardia Civil also moved to the scene of the incident.
Two of the injured, a 27-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, were transferred to the Los Arcos-Mar Menor university hospital with polyontusions.
The third, a 33-year-old man, was taken to the Santa Lucia hospital with a slight prognosis.
ACCIDENT ON THE ROAD OF THE APARECIDA
That same afternoon there was another accident with three injured people on the Carretera de La Aparecida.
The collision involved a seat alhambra with two occupants, a man and a woman, and a ford focus with a male occupant.
Although none of the occupants of both vehicles was trapped, the woman, who was the one who received most of the impact, had to be attended and evacuated by the medical services.
The two men were in apparent good health.
