The restoration team of the Barrio del Foro has finished the work of restoration of the pieces that will be part of the museographic collection of the Roman Forum.
This Tuesday, December 4, at 11:30 in the Technological and Research Center on Submarine Techniques, of the Polígono Cabezo Beaza, the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón;
the director of the restoration team of Foro Romano, Izaskun Martínez;
together with the vice president of Fundación Repsol, Ignacio Egea;
they will appear before the media to explain all the details of the works of consolidation of the pieces found in the deposit.
The archaeological interventions sponsored by Puerto de Culturas and the Repsol Foundation have gone on for 7 months in which a team of 5 restorers led by Izaskun Martínez, have undertaken interventions in these objects of various inorganic nature such as ceramics, metals, glass, marble and wall paintings, as well as organic such as bone and wood.
