The Council of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena already has everything prepared so that Christmas is installed in the city, taking advantage of the bridge of the Constitution and the Immaculate, which is celebrated this week.
Thus, tomorrow Tuesday, December 5 will be the lighting of the Christmas lighting, which will begin in the historic center and will gradually expand to the neighborhoods, until December 22.
In addition, the Municipal Bethlehem will be inaugurated in the Plaza de San Francisco, a place that will become the focal point of the municipal activities scheduled.
The act will be attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, among other municipal councilors.
The birth, whose assembly began in November, is located under a transparent tent of 30 x 10 meters, which will be transparent from this Tuesday afternoon with the previous scheduled actions aimed at the little ones.
There will be animation and music characters from 18:00 and the official opening of the visits to the tent will be at 19:00, while brooch will put, at 19:45, the performance of the musical group Marengo Swing with Christmas classics.
In addition, this year Plaza San Francisco will be the framework of the traditional handicraft market that, in recent years, has been located in the Alameda de San Antón, thus adding to give more Christmas atmosphere to the center.
