The Official Section of the FICC will continue this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Nuevo Teatro Circo with the French film 'Amante por un día', by director Philippe Garrel.
Filmed in exquisite black and white, the film illustrates Garrel's poetic exploration of relationships, love, fidelity and desire.
Tells the story of a young girl who returns to her father's house after a breakup.
There he discovers that he has a relationship with a girl of the same age.
Before the film, the short films 'L'homellop', by Lluís Sellarès Nadal and 'Una china en el zapato', by Adrián Ramos and Oriol Segarra will be screened.
Later it will be possible to see 'Handia', by the directors Jon Garaño and Aitor Arregi, at 7:30 p.m.
After his film 'Loreak', which was also seen in the FICC three editions ago, they return with this drama based on real events located in the Guipúzcoa after the First Carlist War.

In the afternoon, the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center opens with 'La última aventura del Gandul', a documentary from the 'Europa.doc' section whose director, Tomás Cimadevilla, will be present at 5:00 p.m. Know your work.
This documentary is about the last trip on board in El Gandul, a ship in which a group of friends embarks with the objective of crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
Before the documentary will be screened 'Evströnger', a short film by the director and actress Silvia Conesa Cartagena.
After that, at 20:00 hours, the same cultural center will host the Spanish film 'Los objetos amorosos', directed by Adrián Silvestre.
This film from the section 'Cineistas' addresses the issue of immigration through the character of Luz, who emigrates to Italy in search of a better future, leaving her two-year-old son in Colombia.
His European dream is truncated and becomes a series of misfortunes.
Unexpectedly he meets Fran, a person who breaks all the schemes.
The Korean cinema exhibition 'Cartagena looks at Seoul', which is based in the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation Culture Room, will end this Thursday at 7:00 pm with the screening of the cult thriller 'Memories of Murder', by Bong Jong -ho.
Set in Korea in 1986, it tells a case based on real events about a series of crimes and police investigations.
Activities
Room B of the El Batel Auditorium will be filled at 10:00 a.m. with the projections of the works participating in the contest of short AFFILIATED youngsters, made by the ESO and Bachillerato students of the educational centers of Cartagena and its district.
During this screening the name of the winning short film will be revealed, which will receive the prize of € 1,000 in audiovisual material for its center during the closing gala of the festival.

Admission to all projections of the parallel sections of the FICC is free and free until full capacity is reached.
Birras and series join at the FICC46
One more year, the Cartagena International Film Festival will host a Birraseries meeting among its parallel activities.
The initiative, which takes place in various cities in Spain, is carried out in our region in collaboration with Birraseries Murcia, commanded by critics Andrés Guevara and Israel Vicente.
This edition will focus on the series made in Spain asking questions as if the Spanish series were better before or now, or if the national fiction is at the level of European and American.
To answer all these questions we will have the film and television critic Alberto Frutos and the director Miguel Alcantud, known for television works such as 'El Internado', 'Águila Roja', 'El Ministerio del Tiempo' or 'Estoy vivo' , and also for his cinematographic work: his last feature film, 'Diamantes Negros', we were able to see him four editions at the FICC.
The meeting, which has the sponsorship of Estrella de Levante, will take place in the El Soldadito de Plomo café (Calle Principe de Vergara, 5) from 8:00 p.m.
