The Palacio Consistorial de Cartagena has hosted today, November 28, the seminar 'Management model in key equality for talent management and competitiveness improvement', organized by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Cartagena (AMEP) with the support from the Spanish Federation of Women Directors, Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs FEDEPE, and the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.

"An important day for the business fabric and for the women of Cartagena and the entire region", has been described by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, who has inaugurated this event with the president of AMEP, Nuria Castillo, the councilor of Equality, David Martínez and the speaker and Head of the Training and Employment Department of the Equality Area of ​​La Macarena City Council, África Vaquero.

The mayor has been satisfied and proud that this seminar is being held, "because in Cartagena we have to continue talking much more about SMEs, about women and about continuing to work together on real and effective equality between men and women, in the that we must continue working to break glass ceilings. "

He made reference at the opening ceremony to the meeting of the plenary session of the State Council of SMEs, which he attended yesterday as a representative of the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, to offer himself as a speaker of the demands of the SMEs of Cartagena.

It has also advanced that this body will work on the "Strategic State Framework of the SME" that will include measures for the internationalization of these companies, and whose lines of action have been offered to share with members of AMEP in the future forum that has commissioned them as "duties".

Throughout the day, aimed at managers and human resources of companies, issues such as obtaining grants for the implementation of equality plans, the impact of non-management of gender diversity in business organizations have been addressed. , or the impact of the management system of equality in the competitiveness of companies.

After the opening ceremony, to questions from the media, the mayor spoke of the works of the AVE to Cartagena, and the General Plan of Urban Planning.
