The municipal group of PODEMOS considers inadmissible that the Socialist Party promises one thing and does the opposite, serving the interests of HIDROGEA rather than the whole of Cartagena society.

In a press release, the purple formation recalled that the PSOE had in its program the denunciation of the extension of the contract with the company until 2042, an extension that had two reports against the CJRM and that is also investigated by the POKEMON plot.

CTSSP has recalled that the PSOE has to make authentic juggling to explain the steps that are following with water, because on the one hand they sit down to negotiate the tariff with a company accused of being corrupt and corrupting, and on the other hand councilors of Government as the mayor of the Treasury signed in 2004 an appeal for annulment of the extension.

The same happens with the Technical Board that they have formed to negotiate the tariff, whose composition guarantees in advance kindness, the same kindness that during 20 years showed the PP.

In the opinion of the municipal group of PODEMOS, the contradictions of the PSOE do not stop there: they kneel in Cartagena while they want to recover the service in Alhama (where the SG of the PSOE of the Region governs);

and they contradict themselves when they say they defend public services but they were responsible for the privatization of water and after voting favorably on the extension of their contract.

Finally, CTSSP considers of a surprising cynicism that the Socialist Party is torn the clothes with the consequences of the Law Montoro and the asphyxia of the City councils but at the time of making reality that fight they behave like squires of a monopoly that takes near 25% of the municipal budget, which has indebted the City Council and is being investigated for illicit association and fraud to the public administration, with alleged extra costs in the works subcontracted to companies of the same group, badly liquidated surpluses and irregularities of personnel, among others practices harmful to the pocket of all Cartagena.
