The snapshot 'Corner with Mystery', presented by Juan Soler Gómez, has been the winner of the first prize of the IX Edition of the photography competition organized by Cartagena Puerto de Culturas, with the sponsorship of El Corte Inglés.
On this occasion, more than 160 images have been presented, capturing charming corners between the streets full of modernist art from the port city, new lenses of the sites and museums that play with lights and shadows.
Photographs have been taken with new locations in the magnificent harbor that contains magical and enchanting places.
As well as, they have managed to collect images that suggest us to reveal part of the story.
The jury formed by Francisco García Aguilera, publicity and public relations graduate, manager of Newrona Comunicación, Rafael Marín Anaya, degree in audiovisual communication, photographer, audiologist and artist, Agustina Martínez Molina, manager of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas and Encarna Zamora, technician of Cartagena Port of Cultures, has valued creativity, style and good execution, selected the 50 finalists among which is the first prize.
The images will be exhibited from November 29 to December 12 in the basement 2 of El Corte Inglés in Cartagena.
During the exhibition time, the visiting public will be able to vote for their three favorite photographs in order to choose the second prize and the two second prizes.
The prizes of the IX Contest of Photography are sponsored by El Corte Inglés being the first prize of 500 euros, the second prize of 200 euros and the two runners-up of 100 euros each, all of them in gift cards of El Corte Inglés.
The awards ceremony will take place at the shopping center facilities in Cartagena.
In this act will be held the raffle of a gift card of El Corte Inglés worth 100 euros among all people who have participated in the voting.
