The Informative Commission of Urbanism has approached this morning the report and takes of knowledge of the allegations presented to the transitory urbanistic norms elaborated by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia to provisionally supply the annulment of the General Urban Plan of Cartagena.
As will be recalled, these transitory rules were initially reported favorably by the municipal plenary last July, opening a process of public exposure in which 84 allegations have been registered.
For their study by the Urban Planning Commission they have been divided into three sections.
In one, those referred to objections about the competence and the procedure of these transitory norms, which must be the Autonomous Community itself that resolves before its final approval.
In another, those that focus on management issues that, due to their size, must be resolved in the process of reviewing the General Plan and at which time the Commission has sent them.
And in a last one, those that dealt with material errors in some of the plans of the documentation, which the Commission has reported favorably for the Autonomous Community to take them into account at the time of the final approval of the transitory rules.
The opinion has counted on the favorable votes of PP, PSOE, MC and Citizens;
and the vote against CTSSP.
These transitory norms of the Autonomous Community will try to give legal security to the normative void that in urban matter has taken place in the municipality of Cartagena by the annulment of the General Plan by the Supreme Court, in 2016.
The regulations refer only to urban land, rural cores, the Valley of Escombreras and the catalogs of protected buildings and trees.
It has also been specified that the General Plan of 1987 in the urban area will be suspended with them, but the detailed studies will be maintained.
The Urban Planning Commission has also given the green light to a detailed study in Cabo de Palos.
However, the vote counted on the abstention of CTSSP.
