The school Fernando Garrido de Canteras has received the visit of the University Club Rugby (CRU) Cartagena, through the ADE Program of the Department of Sports, with the aim of promoting sport at school age.
More than 100 students of children of 3,4 and 5 years have spent a morning of games directed by players of the feminine and masculine equipment.
Cristina, Risi, Tere, Fran, Jorge and Keneth have served as rugby instructors with this group.
The day was held in two sessions, from 9:30 to 11:00 students of children of 3 and 4 years and the second session, from 11:30 to 13:00 for students of 5 years.
First, an animated video about rugby for initiation has been projected, with which the children have sung with the sportsmen the "war cry" they make before the games.
The second part has been developed in the Municipal Pavilion with the realization of exercises adapted to these ages.
It has surprised the great adaptation and interpretation of the exercises that have demonstrated the students of infantile, with careers and tackles, within a circuit in which they have been rotating to practice and especially to experience this sport.
In the final part of the session, players and all participating students have been photographed, and the CRU Cartagena has received a gift from the school.
The Council of Sports has delivered a methacrylate from the ADE Program to the Fernando Garrido school.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
