"Salvación" (Editorial Gollarín, 2017), the latest novel by writer Miguel Sánchez Robles, will be presented this Thursday, November 23, at 8:00 p.m., at the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, within the programming of the Department of Culture cycle Read, Think, Imagine.
The author, the editor Franciscio Marín and the Arabic Literature professor from the Complutense University of Madrid, Montserrat Abumalham, will be present at the event.
The work presents a lyrical, intimate text, full of feelings and certainties.
A personal and moving story that addresses in its narrative structure a poetic and surprising journey through the Camino de la Vera Cruz that starts from Roncesvalles and the other road: the inner path, the path of the soul.
The author of the novel affirms that it is "a spiritual adventure written from and for the hearts of those who believe that in life there is something more powerful and authentic than man himself.
A novel about that transcendental need for belief that humanity has always had and a deep reflection at the same time about the world in which we live. "
It is a novel in which both the author and the reader "take refuge fleeing the yoke of reality to inquire into themselves.
A work that leaves the physical world that we see through our eyes every day to explore, with a tension of infrequent poetic freedom, the universe of sleep and memory.
A personal tribute to the eternal and sacred things in which we usually believe in a conscious and clandestine way ".
It supposes a mystical confession full of fantasy and tenderness, but it is also a novel of redemption and of gratitude to the existence in which that maxim of Seamus Heaney is fulfilled to perfection that says: "The only material that a writer needs is his sense of the world".
