The cycle Read, Think, Imagine, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, has as one of its priorities for children, and it is dedicated to the presentation of the book 'Adventures of the pilot Rufus', by Manuel Moyano.
The writer will present his children's work this Wednesday, November 22 at 6:30 p.m., in the Doña Centenito library, of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The author will be accompanied by the also writer, Natalia Carbajosa.
SYNOPSIS
This book is for adventurous intrepid pilots in practice, crazy inventors, sagacious investigators, risky travelers, cavers, but above all, above all, for readers wishing to be ordinary people.
It should also be noted, the magnificent illustrations of children's work made by Javier García.
MANUEL MOYANO
Born in Córdoba, he grew up in Barcelona and since 1991 he lives in Molina de Segura (Murcia).
His narrative, of refined language and strong expressive power, flirts with fantasy and adventure but escapes from generic corsets.
He has won prizes such as Tigre Juan, for 'El amigo de Kafka';
el Tristana, for 'La coartada del diablo';
the Celsius of the Black Week of Gijón, for 'The Empire of Yegorov';
and Carolina Coronado, for 'The Saint-Germain hypothesis'.
As author of a short narrative he has written 'El celeste gold', 'The Wolberg experiment' and 'Teatro de ceniza', whose pieces have been included in numerous anthologies.
He is a member of the Meteorite Order of Molina de Segura.
