The Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena UPCT, which is part of the City of Cartagena, has convened the Prize 'Ginés Huertas Martínez'.
A project that is also part of the Campus of International Excellence project "Campus Mare Nostrum 37/38", one of the strategic axes of which is teaching excellence.
The aim is to ensure that Campus Mare Nostrum as a whole, and the UPCT in particular as a promoter of the same, will become a national and international benchmark in terms of the teaching model and academic performance.
The award is intended for students of Degree, or equivalent in the degrees to be extinguished, of the UPCT that have defended their Final Project (PFC) or Final Degree Project (TFG) in the academic year 2016/2017 and that they intend to expand his training with the completion of postgraduate studies at the UPCT.
The prize will be endowed with 1,200 euros, sponsored by the Huertas Motor Group, which must be used by the winner in postgraduate training activities of the UPCT itself, such as a master's degree or doctorate in the 2 years following its award.
To award this prize, the average grade of the academic record and the PFC or TFG will be assessed, which must have received a grade of outstanding or honorary registration, which will take into account aspects such as the quality and scientific value of the same, the originality , applicability of results, social interest, relationship with renewable energies, respect for the environment, development of the same in collaboration with a company.
The deadline for submitting applications ends on Friday, December 8.
