This was the order that the City of Cartagena made in July to the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) for a research group of the educational institution to develop it.
On the other hand, on September 18, the Municipal Citizens Group had the opportunity to meet with representatives of Radio Taxi Cartagena, including its president, Eusebio Rodríguez.

The spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, affirms that "our taxi drivers live hard and uncertain times in the face of their short and medium term future, and our responsibility is to begin to clear up some of their doubts already".
"That is why we will take several questions to the next ordinary plenary session to know the current status of the sector's Viability Plan, to facilitate the progress made so far and an approximate date for its completion."
In addition, and in relation to the statements made by the Councilor for Finance, Isabel García, in which she assured that the Government was going to study the possibility of introducing specific aid to the sector for the adaptation to the eurotaxi, to which they are obliged before the end of year, the Cs spokesperson will ask what status the study is in and when the taxi drivers will be informed of their findings.
On the other hand, Ciudadanos also wants to know when the City Council plans to resolve the allegations to the future ordinance, "we know that there are important allegations such as those referring to the full and exclusive dedication to the activity of the taxi that is the power of the City Council and the related to the unification of the area, which according to the taxi drivers, could create a situation of unsustainability in the service, both issues require a clear and honest response from the local government ", explained Manuel Padín.
Finally, the Citizens Group also wants to know how the Government is going to control and avoid unfair competition among taxi drivers, "in recent dates, as published in the newspaper La Opinion, the representatives of Radio Taxi Cartagena explained that, in virtue of an internal agreement, during the weekends, when they are even days, professionals with a license that ends in an even number do not work and when they are odd days, those who are free are those who have an odd license, but many are they jump that pact ", Manuel Padín has explained that he has remembered that they requested the mediation of the Consistory to solve this problem.
