The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, took advantage of this afternoon the official reception organized by the Spanish Football Federation to publicize the benefits of its cultural, historical, heritage, beach and gastronomic tourism.
The first mayor explained to the directors of the National Football Federation, the Slovak Federation and UEFA that Cartagena has first class sports facilities for the physical preparation of players, as well as an exceptional climate for sports during the twelve months of the year.
To this is added that, with the recent remodeling of the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium, our city is in a position to house, not only matches of the U21 National Team, but also of the Absolute National Team.
The act was also attended by the Councilors of Sports, Ricardo Segado, and Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, as well as sponsors and representatives of many of the base football clubs in Cartagena.
