The culinary treasures of Cartagena will arrive, for the second time, Murcia Gatronómica from the hand of eight restaurants in the city.
From November 17 and 20, at the Víctor Villegas auditorium, attendees will be able to attend the stand 'Cartagena, city of treasures, my treasure is the flavor' and taste a selection of local products, as well as the most representative dishes of the Fiestas de Cartagena, its neighborhoods and county councils.
From the area of ​​Economic Strategy of the city of Cartagena, directed by the mayor Ana Belén Castejón, is committed to this gastronomic tourism, which complements very well with the great tourist offer of Cartagena, Patrimonial and Cultural.
The mayor Ana Belén Castejón was, precisely, the one in charge of making known all the details of the presence of Cartagena in this gastronomic showcase during the presentation of the event, which took place on Tuesday in the Reception Hall of the Consistorial Palace.
The mayor has been accompanied, in this presentation, by the director of La Verdad de Murcia, Alberto Aguirre.
Some novelties that Cartagena presents in its second participation in Murcia Gatronómica is that of dedicating a day to gastronomic festivals.
Precisely, Saturday November 18 will be the day of the traditional dishes of the parties of Cartagena, its neighborhoods and councils.
The octopus of San Antón, the cauldron of Cabo de Palos, the migas of La Aljorra, the potatoes of La Puebla, the balls of Pozo Estrecho and the Asian of Albujón, have been the chosen dishes with which Cartagena will show its wealth and gastronomic variety in Murcia.
Precisely, the mayor said they are working together with the Ministry of Culture in the beginning of the record by declaring the Pozo Estrecho balls as a Regional Tourist Interest.

The stand of Cartagena will have a varied selection of dishes ranging from the most traditional cuisine to the highest avant-garde, thanks to the collaboration of Gastrobar Daniel restaurants, Los Churrascos, Los Habaneros, Malvasía, Mar de Cañas, Peit Komité, Sacromonte and Shusi Wu.
Also during these four days, you can taste the fruit of the effort of several producing companies of Cartagena: Yerbera cheeses, cheeses Tastes of Tallante, Caprilac cheeses, salted Ricardo Fuentes, Le Chaton Galletería, La Limonada de la Abuela, Bodegas Serrano and distillery Roniwesk
Murcia Gastronómica will count in this sixth edition with presentations of the great chefs, tastings and workshops for adults and children.
