The Plaza of the Santa Cecilia Musical Art Society of Pozo Estrecho hosted on Sunday the III Meeting Galileo, a meeting place for associations and entities present in the town, in a day that was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón , the delegated councilor of Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martín del Amor, the delegated councilor of Equality, David Martínez, and councilors of the municipal groups of the opposition like Manuel Padín and Antonio Calderón.
This activity was part of the community intervention project that Columbares Association, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation of the City of Cartagena, together with the 26 entities of the Interasociative Table, develop in Pozo Estrecho.
Other associations and invited entities of the neighboring towns and councils also participated in the initiative.
Throughout the morning, the different groups exhibited information on their activities at their stands, and they were able to enjoy various musical and dance performances, children's workshops, sports activities and a magic show, among others.
This activity is the result of the work carried out with the associations throughout the year, with the aim of working in a network and fostering spaces of encounter and coexistence, favoring social cohesion.
