The Local Police of Cartagena will ensure road safety in the various sporting events that will be held during this weekend in our city, and recommends drivers to foresee their movements and use public transport, to avoid traffic jams, and guarantee the continuity.
On Saturday, November 11, the football match between FC Cartagena and Real Murcia will take place at 6:00 pm at the Cartagonova municipal stadium, which will gather many fans around the football field.
On Sunday, November 12, the Mar Menor Running Challenge will take place at 9:00 am and will continue with the competitive races of 5K, 10K and Half Marathon at 10:00 am, all of them in a staggered manner.
The tour will depart from Playa Paraíso and will reach the height of the Urbanization Estrella de Mar in Los Urrutias, where it will be turned around to return to the finish line, which will be installed in the same place of departure.
The tests are scheduled to finish around 1:00 p.m.
Also, in the port of Cartagena will take place the urban circuit with the XLI edition of the Corpus Trophy, which will be held this Sunday, November 12 at 10:30 am.
Drivers must anticipate their movements and exercise extreme caution, always respecting the rules of the road, paying special attention to the transit of bicycles during this weekend.
