The Neighborhood Coordinator of San Anton and the Mediterranean Urbanization, shows its work for coexistence (09/11/2017)

The Neighborhood Coordinator of San Antón and La Urba, organizes the Citizenship Fair, which will take place in the Plaza Ciudad de Mula, in which stands will be installed and various activities will be offered that besides informing, will enliven the autumn afternoon of Friday November 10 between 4.30 and 7.30.

There will be motivating offers for the whole family, the traditional chestnuts, and also the Stand of the Coordinator will gather the opinions, the comments and the contributions that allow that the services offered by the entities come out reinforced.

This first edition of La Feria de la Ciudadanía, is going to be a moment of special relevance because, the entities, as a whole, will take to the streets a work that sometimes remains invisible in work spaces.

With this activity, we want to make an appeal and an invitation to the neighbors, so that they know more and better the entity, and to participate, collaborate, dedicate a little of their time to that noble task of contributing and contributing to build a best neighborhood for everyone.

THE COORDINATOR

The Neighborhood Coordinator of San Antón and the Mediterranean Urbanization is a platform that brings together the main associations, collectives, municipal institutions and citizens of these neighborhoods, to work cooperatively, a series of topics of common interest.

Topics such as coexistence, the image of these neighborhoods, the well-being of neighbors, the promotion of certain groups -such as childhood, women, the elderly, neighbors of different origins, ...-, parties and customs, and on the well-being and quality of life of all the neighbors, are the subjects of common interest and that are at the origin of the collaborative work that they develop in the neighborhoods.

It has been in operation for more than 15 years and is a strategy to coordinate and improve the work that each of the entities does separately.

Beyond the work that each entity does, the Coordinator meets every fortnight in different community spaces of the neighborhoods (Centro Cultural El Cuco, El Casino, ....), And in those meetings, open to the participation of any person Interested, the questions that constructively and in community have to be treated as an element of social development in the neighborhood are put on the table.

That is why the Coordinator, in an effort to enhance their work, joins to give a unified and coordinated response to these situations.
