Alexis Díaz Pimienta, accompanied by Charo Martín, will perform this Thursday, November 9, at 8:30 p.m., at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, and within the framework of the Deslinde poetry festival, with his show designed exclusively for this event, Word Salad with Pepper.
It fuses poetry, flamenco and repentismo, and will follow the presentation of the anthology 'Marca Oliver', which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the International Poetry Prize 'Antonio Oliver Belmás', which Alexis Díaz Pimienta won in 1994 with one of the best known books: 'Bad music room'.
The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, has highlighted the prolific career of this author who has published 28 books of different genres, novels, stories, essays, and poetry;
and that has won numerous national and international awards with most of them.

Born in Havana (1966).
Writer and repentista, is Director of the Experimental Chair of Improvised Poetry and Deputy Director of Development of the Ibero-American Center of the Tenth and the Improvised Verse (CIDVI), both based in Havana, Cuba.
Member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
His poems and stories have been translated into Italian, French, English, Japanese, Arabic, Farsi (Iranian autochthonous language), Bulgarian and German.
