What mystery is hidden behind the latest excavations of Carthago Nova?
For centuries, the golden proportions have been present in the most emblematic buildings of the city, but what relationship does it have with an eight-pointed star present in the Theater Museum, in the Forum Quarter and later it will be the insignia of the Order of Cavalry of Santa María.
To Alfonso X case, discovered its meaning?
And who introduced this knowledge in the ancient city of Carthago Nova?
On the theatrical route Code Carthago Nova, Science and Mystery, you will be part of a trepidante route, in search of a secret hidden in the most important sites of Cartagena.
Route: Roman Theater Museum, Roman Forum Quarter and Concepción Castle.
Days: November Saturdays.
Time: 11: 30h.
Departure: from the Theater Museum.

Sherlock Holmes and the mystery of the Goddess Isis.
Dramatized visit
Sherlock Holmes solves the mystery of the goddess Isis, where the famous detective, accompanied by the little ones, will discover a strange event that prevents Watson from participating in the magical ritual of the goddess.
Place: Barrio del Foro Romano.
Days: Sundays in November.
Time: 12: 00h.

IX Edition of the Photography Contest "Cartagena, places with mystery", sponsored by the English Court
On Monday, November 13, the deadline for the delivery of images of corners with charm and a certain mystery that is found among its streets, where every detail is urban art, images of its museums and sites that make it a legendary city and a thousand dream locations from where you can see the magnificent harbor.
Capturing images with light and shadow games of singular places of the most magical Cartagena, is our next objective.
Prizes will be awarded to the photographs that best represent the objective of the contest:
The prizes consist of:
- First prize: € 500 in a gift card from El Corte Inglés.
- Second prize: € 200 in a gift card from El Corte Inglés
- Two second prize: € 100 on a gift card from El Corte Inglés.
- Draw: € 100 in a gift card from El Corte Inglés.
The participation bases can be found on the Cartagena de Culturas website, with the deadline for submitting the images from November 13 to 19, both inclusive.
A jury will select the 50 best photographs assessing style, expression and creativity, selecting the first prize.
The 50 photographs chosen by the jury, among which will be the first prize, will be exhibited at the facilities of El Corte Inglés de Cartagena, from November 29 to December 12, in order that the public vote the second prize and the two runners-up.
On the other hand, on Sundays the guided route continues: Asclepios, 2000 years of a hill.
This route will be explained from the first Roman settlements dedicated to the god Asclepios.
You will cross the hill where stands the medieval castle built in the time of Alfonso X, the Wise, from where you can see the entire city being able to see all the civilizations that came to Cartagena.
The route ends at the Roman Theater Museum, an example of the splendor reached in Roman times.
Tour: Panoramic Elevator, Castillo de la Concepción and Museo del Teatro Romano.
Days: Sundays of November and December.
