This Monday, the exhibition of the artist Vicenta Solano Colmena, better known by her artistic name, Vichí, 'Bailarinas en acuarelas', was inaugurated at the headquarters of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Cartagena (located on the main street). , which can be visited there until the end of the month.
The delegate councilor of Equality, David Martinez, attended the event, where he could contemplate the collection of almost 70 paintings donated by this artist, student of the Univerdidad Popular de Cartagena, so that they are put on sale and their benefits are destined for the Association Pablo Ugarte of the fight against childhood cancer in the port city.
After the opening of the exhibition a poetry recital was held in which the mayor glossed verses by the Cartagena poetess Rosa García Oliver.
Likewise, during the course of the inauguration, a good part of the works were already sold, which resulted in a collection of approximately 450 euros.
