The eleven images that choose to be the poster of the Holy Week in Cartagena for 2018 are already on display.
Citizens who want to meet them can see them, until November 14, on the first floor of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena and the Board of Brotherhoods of Holy Week convene this contest which will leave the official image that will announce this Easter Cartagena.
November 14 will be when the jury will choose one of the eleven works, which in this occasion are about the brotherhood of the Risen One, who procession on Resurrection Sunday.
Yesterday, November 6, this exhibition was presented with the presence of the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez Noguera.
The mayor was visiting the poster exhibition together with the Elder Brother of the Brotherhood of the Resuciato, Bernardo Simó Barreto.
The contest includes in this edition some novelties as the opening to all the artistic techniques, including photography, painting or any other discipline of graphic expression.
In addition, in this edition the contest will be organized by the Board of Brotherhoods, while the City Council will contribute by providing the prize money, which is maintained at 1,500 euros.
The poster exhibition of Semana Santa de Cartagena can be seen free of charge until the 14th Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, in its usual schedule.
