Effective Firefighters of the City of Cartagena participated last morning in the tasks of assistance to a driver who suffered a spectacular accident on the AP-7, near the exit Vera-Almaería.

The accident occurred at 00.22 h.

in the sense of Los Alcázares to Cartagena.

The driver of the vehicle lost control for reasons that are unknown and impacted breaking several meters of protector.

Fortunately the interior of the vehicle was not affected.

This, together with the effective action of the active protection elements (airbag, pretensioners), meant that the driver did not suffer any injury, despite the accident.
