More than 1,500 people enjoyed this Saturday the 1st Fair of Cheese and Craft Beer of La Aljorra.
The deputation Cartagena became for 12 hours in the showcase of artisans of beer and cheese in the region of Campo de Cartagena.
The event brought together the creators of the beers Trinitaria, Colapso, Another Planet and La Canana, along with the masters of La Yerbera, Sabores de Tallante and Caprilac.
This initiative of the Neighborhood Association of La Aljorra, within its November Cultural program, has been promoted by the area of ​​Economic Strategy, which runs the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón.
"The area of ​​Economic Strategy has always been together with the groups in the celebration of new activities and events, such as the Outlet of Commerce, the Shopping Night of Los Belones and now this fair," said Castejón.
The day counted, in addition, with the attendance of the councilman of Citizen Security, Francisco Aznar.
In addition to beer and cheese, attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy other culinary options, since they installed a food truck or restaurant van.
The dessert was run by Jellyfish Cakes, who taught a creative pastry workshop for the little ones at their stand.
Also, in the framework of the Cultural November of La Aljorra a free children's theater was held on Friday for the little ones and at night a karaoke in Paddock.
On Sunday there was a cultural trip to Jumilla and a party was held at the Pincho with Argentine barbecue and concert of the Comparsa Fantasía de la Asociación de Vecinos de La Aljorra.
Since the organization have shown their satisfaction with the success of assistance and hope to repeat next year this event that seeks to promote the artisan products of the region of Campo de Cartagena as well as create leisure spaces in this deputation Cartagena.
