Last Friday the Provincial Court of Murcia, Fifth Section, has notified the legal services of MC the order of October 10, 2017 that reopens the case against the PP in the western zone of Cartagena, specifically against the former president of the Neighborhood Board of Perín for an alleged crime of prevarication.

This is an investigation on the start of a paving work in the summer of 2014 before the opening of the offers and, therefore, of the possible awarding of a work.

The then president by the PP could skip all the legal procedures and award the work "a finger", without the current councilors of the municipal group of the PP Nicolás Ángel Bernal and Florentina García Vargas detected, or at least without being prevented or investigated after knowing the facts, in spite of being the Councilwoman President of district and the councilor of decentralization, respectively.

The Hearing has revoked the file following the arguments of MC, and consider that the President of the Neighborhood Board must respond criminally in the event that it fails to comply with the rules.

For our training is not a joy that there are irregularities and this possible new crime of the local PP, but we will continue working to clarify the actions of the PP in front of the City Council and that made Cartagena a benchmark for corruption with issues of national impact as Puerta Nueva and his "daughter" the Punic operation, clientelist networks and corruption.
