On October 16, the Municipal Citizens Group sent a request to the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, ordering her to work so that a new meeting of the Cartagena High Speed ​​society could be convened to explain the situation of the railway projects in the municipality and try to fix at once the budgetary deadlines for the arrival of High Speed ​​to Cartagena.

In addition, and in parallel, Cs Cartagena has requested that an extraordinary Spokespersons Meeting be convened that includes representatives of the public entity Administrator of Railway Infrastructures (Adif) to deal with these issues before all the municipal groups with representation in the City Council.

Local spokesman Orange training, Manuel Padin, recalled that "we are not asking anything strange, on September 27 spokesmen for the opposition in the City of Murcia had the opportunity to sit at a table with representatives of Adif, a those who could ask for explanations and clarifications before the doubts arisen in relation to the arrival of the AVE in the neighboring city, and we believe that the spokespersons of Partido Popular, Podemos and Ciudadanos in the City of Cartagena deserve no less ".
