Last weekend of the 28th and 29th of October the inaugural day of the XXV Liga Local Baseball of Cartagena was celebrated with an act that took place in the Municipal Sports Center of La Unión in which the players, coaches, referees and authorities present exhibited a commemorative banner and in which, in addition, a kick of honor was made by the Councilor for Youth and Sports, Ricardo Segado, the president of the AD La Union, Joaquín Menéndez, and the sports director of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, Jesús Rosagro.
In this act they were accompanied by representatives of other institutions that collaborate with the many acts of the XXV anniversary of the League as the Association of Clubs, the Federated Arbitration Delegation of Cartagena, the COLEF of the Region of Murcia and companies such as Sound Castellini and Jimbo Fresh.
The first day of the championship was held with the dispute of almost a hundred meetings in thirty fields of play of the municipality and the region of Cartagena, in which a minute of silence was kept in memory of Antonio Manuel Pérez, coach of prebenjamines of the AD Barrio Peral, died in the same week.
The parties were refereed by the federated members, who did a good job.
The Delegation of Arbitrators will collaborate with the 'Fair Play and Sports' campaign throughout the season to promote clubs that exemplify these values.
During the day matches were held in the bottle and pacifier categories, pre-baby B, pre-baby A, baby B, baby A, baby B, baby A, infant, cadet and females.
They involved more than 4000 players, technicians and referees from the 41 participating clubs, among which are represented, in addition to the municipality of Cartagena, those of La Union, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Torre Pacheco, Fuente Alamo and Murcia.
In the category of bottle and lollipops, where classifications are not computed, the players and team technicians had fun in each disputed encounter, beginning in the learning of grassroots football.
This championship is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and has the collaboration of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, the General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Technical Committee of Arbitrators of Cartagena, the Association of Clubs of the Region of Cartagena (AFCT), the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education of the Region of Murcia and the Cartagena Football Club Foundation.
CASTILLITOS FC AND EME BAR, LEADERS OF FIRST AND SECOND DIVISION IN FANS
After the dispute of the second day of the XXIII edition of the Local League of Amateur Football, and after raising Castillitos FC with the victory in the first division, winning their match 3-0 to Rehabilitaciones Carthago and doing the same, in the second division , Eme Bar to impose Canana FC by 0-3, both sets lead the qualifying table in their respective categories, although tied to points with more teams.
This championship is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and has the collaboration of Leverade Real Play, the Association of Arbitrators of Cartagena, the Practiser Medical Center and the COLEF of the Region of Murcia.
