Continuing with Halloween activities, the T-LA (Alternative Free Time) program of the Department of Youth will take place, tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31, the III Edition of the Horror Short Films 'Sometimes I see shorts'.
Of the seventy-one short films presented, seven have been selected, all of them Spanish.
Of all the presented fifty-seven are Spanish, and the rest of diverse nationalities such as: United States, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, United Arab Emirates, Finland, France, Italy, Portugal and Russia.
The short films selected are horror mixed with science fiction, drama, fantasy, thriller, comedy and zombie.
One of the chosen ones, 'Z Fest', is directed by the Lorca David Cordero.
The screening of the short films will take place at the facilities of the Youth Resource Center from 10pm, with the selected titles being the following: 'The App', 'Behind', 'Fallen Angel', 'Medium', ' Z Fest ',' Squeeze but rarely now 'and' Void Chair '.
The short film 'The App' was Best Short Spanish Prize at the 61st International Cinema Week of Valladolid SEMINCI (2016).
The selection jury was composed by Pedro Zaplana Martínez, movie buff, and Antonio A. Martínez, producer and director.
Highlight the considerable increase in participation compared to the previous edition in which fifty papers were submitted.
Likewise, the Youth Resource Hall will dress up for the occasion and all the participants will be received by strange beings who will accompany them to their seats.
Admission is completely free until full capacity is reached and access will be limited to people over 16 years old.
After the session, the public will vote for the one who considers the best short film of this III Edition, receiving the winner an economic prize of € 500.
