The Festival CON_VER_GEN_TE 2017, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, will close its programming on Saturday November 4 at 9:00 pm with the TRIO TRUNA experimental concert (Tx3), which will take place in the cultural space U t O p t a Cartagena.
This artist, self-defined as "luthier-electronic", inventor and designer of the musical instruments he plays, finds his artistic practices in various experimental fields, going through experimental rock until arriving at the sound installation.
He is one of the components of the JOP duo, along with the phonetic poetry performer Bartolomé Ferrando and founding member of "The Other College of 'Pataphysics."
Truna is multiplied by three in this sonic bewilderment, interacting with video-recordings in an open musical structure, and making their invented instruments sound live;
the lectern of the future, the cello-magic-suitcase and the cosmic bull.
This retro-futurist man-orchestra thus generates an impossible dialogue celebrating the timelessness of the sonorous medium and the gift of ubiquity.

TRUNA- (ANDRÉS BLASCO RAMOS - 1965):
Since 1995 my work has focused on two main areas: creation of new instruments and composition of a particular musical and sound language.
In 2010 I started working with Super 8 cinema and video creating hybrid pieces, impregnated with sense of humor, experimentation and where I try the interaction and participation of the public. I also collaborate with installations-sound, dance-theater and other sound artists such as: Bartolomé Ferrando, One Man Nation, Cabo San Roque, Pierre Bastien, LLorenç Barber.
My initial training is photography and cinema.
In 1985 it was when I began to do my first violin studies at the conservatory and I took my first double bass classes at a jazz school in Valencia.
But my first contact with music was as a child.
In 1970 I began to give classical guitar lessons and my first contact with live performances will be in 1982 with the group "Carmina Burana" of Valencia with which I will represent later, in Valencia at the 1990 biennial in Thessaloniki (Greece) .
During the 80s and 90s, when I was still acting in group formation, I made several editions on vinyl and CDs, both in record companies in the country and in Germany.
But for a while now I have focused on live music, shared live, since my work has a high visual level and direct contact with the public.
These are some of the most relevant spaces and festivals where I have installed my sculptures or acted:
"Punto de Encuentro Festival" (Instituto Cervantes Berlin), "Art's Birthday Party 2016" (Ars Sonora RNE), "Off Screen Festival" (Brussels), "WorldTronics Festival" (Berlin), "MEM Festival" (Guggenheim - Bilbao), "Punto de Encuentro Festival" (Medialab Prado), "MACA-Contemporary Art Museum of Alicante", "LEM Festival- MACBA-Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona", "BOGEN / BOGEN" (Cologne), "Scene Contemporánea-Circulo de Bellas Artes "(Madrid)," REMOR Festival "(Gerona)," BAD "(Bilbao)," El Excorchador "(Elxe)," ALTERARTE Festival "(Murcia)," Paraninfo University of Bilbao ", IVAM Valencia Contemporary Art Museum "," EXPERIMENTACLUB "La Casa Encendida (Madrid)," DRAP-ART "(Barcelona)," Matadero LAB "(Toledo)," ENSEMS Festival "(Valencia)," REC Festival "(Tarragona)," KEROXEN Festival "(Tenerife)," CCLE CHIREUX "(Liège).
