The poetry festival Deslinde, organized by the Department of Culture, will kick off with the concert of 'Fidel and Los Navegantes', which will be interspersed with poetic readings by Hugo Cano, Mery Salem, Saúl Lozano and Samuel Jara.
This unique event will be held in Sala Tántalo on Saturday, October 28 at 9:30 pm, with free admission.
Antonio Fidel, composer and member of historical formations as Los Rápidos, Los Burros or El Último de la Fila, will bring to this concert his solo debut album, "Canciones del otro lado", which he recorded accompanied by great friends like Manolo García, Quimi Portet, Miguel Costas (Federal Airlines, Sinister Total), Adrià Puntí or Sergio Ortiz (Smoking Stones).
A new artistic adventure that begins with his band Los Navegantes: Jorge Mario Martínez (voice and lyrics) with a theatrical formation and founder of the Contraband group;
Juan Expósito (drums), who has been participating for several decades in Fidel's projects and musical productions, and with a long history of concerts and recordings with groups and artists such as Ferroblues, Joaquín Talismán, Fernando Rubio and Antonio Marín Albalate. one of the most successful and dynamic poets of the literary scene, with numerous awards and collaborator in several literary magazines.
His repertoire is formed by a great part of the songs of the disc and of course by adaptations of compositions that have been part of the race of Antonio Fidel and of the rest of the band.
The good reception of the album, which was released in June 2017, has not been expected: his first single No volver has achieved in a short time more than 300,000 listeners in Spotify, 25,000 views of his video on Youtube and exciting criticism by all fans.
