This weekend, Cartagena will host a multitude of activities aimed at young people in the city.
The Inter-Association Meeting of Youth Associations will be held on Saturday, October 28, in the vicinity of the Plaza de Heroes de Cavite and Santiago de Cuba.
The young people will be the real protagonists of this event, promoting a true inter-associative spirit.
Graffitti live, virtual reality, robotics, photography, astronomy, ballroom dancing, inclusive readings, crafts, chess, board games and a wide range of activities will happen throughout the day.
Dj Alex Cela will be in charge of putting the musical note to the event.
A hand parade of the Youth Association of Drums "Quillo" will open the door and close this intense participatory day.
In total 48 stands will conform the sample of Youth Associations of the municipality and Collective providers of services to these Associations, being able to visit from 10.00 to 14.00 hours, and from 17.00 to 21.00 hours.
YOUNG CRAFT MARKET
On Sunday, October 29, the young artisans will be the protagonists with the Artisan Market that will be held on the same stage.
A wide variety of objects such as handbags, costume jewelry, clothes, purses, decorations, soaps and natural cosmetics, engravings and paintings, aromatic candles as well as cupcakes and craft beer will all be available for sale. made with craft techniques.
Citizens who come to the port on that day will be able to observe and acquire a great variety of objects and above all know the initiative and creativity that these young people show.
As usual, Youth Associations and Solidarity Organizations will also be present to raise funds for their activities with objects made by their members.
The Artisan Market will open its doors at 10:00 in the morning and will remain in operation uninterrupted until 20:00 hours.
During the weekend, the Department of Youth will have an information stand for the various programs in it, as well as a specific Youth Europe with the participation of Eurodesk, Erasmus + and Europe Direct, and the program T-la-Tiempo Free Alternative-
