The Municipal Auditorium The Batel hosts from Thursday, October 26, and until Saturday 28, the XXXVIII National Congress of the Spanish Federation of Associations of Family Therapy, scientific and didactic meeting point on Family Therapy, to promote the relationship and the contact between professionals of the sector and create new projects.
The opening ceremony was attended by the acting mayor, Juan Pedro Torralba, who encouraged attendees to enjoy the heritage offered by Cartagena, in addition to taking advantage of the excellent presentations of national and international experts who will succeed in this event.
The day began with a presentation on treatment of psychosis, by Jaakko Seikkula and Juan Luis Linares, in which the two experts in prichology addressed the relational treatments that are being successful in the approach of psychosis.
Then the participants of this conference had the opportunity to listen to Martine Nisse and Fiona True, which reflected on the dilemmas raised by family intervention in cases of child abuse, how to explore what happened and how to make stories of dignity emerge , without neglecting the traumatic situation, in order to promote resilient processes.
Throughout the day of Friday the attendees will be able to participate in various workshops and round tables in which they can exchange opinions with several experts.
On Saturday, the conference will conclude with various papers on couples therapy, treatment of anorexia, or borderline personality disorder.
