With the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM), on Wednesday, October 25, the deadline for non-profit associations, made up of entrepreneurs from any sector to carry out their activity in the municipality of Cartagena, can qualify for municipal subsidies to promote the promotion and dynamism of the business community of Cartagena.
As explained by the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Isabel Garcia, the bases were approved by the local Government Board on July 21 and the amount intended to subsidize projects that encourage and stimulate the business fabric of the municipality of Cartagena, through this call, will be a total of 60,000 euros.
The maximum amount of the subsidy for any of the projects may not exceed 50% of the budget of the activity in the first round, and the resulting amount may not exceed the amount requested.
The deadline for submission of applications is 20 calendar days, counted from the next to the publication of the call, so it will conclude on November 14.
For this purpose, a report containing at least the following points must be submitted: - Name of the activity.
- Rationale and reasons justifying its realization.
- Objectives and concrete results to be achieved.
- Methodology and way of working.
- Direct and indirect beneficiaries of the activity.
- Total budget of the activity, detailing the amount of the subsidy requested as well as the expenses and income foreseen for its realization, specifying other public or private entities that have been requested or have granted aids related to the object activities of the subsidy, indicating in this case their amounts
The criteria to be taken into account for the granting of the subsidy will follow the following parameters: quality and interest of the project from the point of view of business development and dynamism (importance and social profitability of the project, beneficiaries, involvement of other groups or scope, among others);
originality and / or innovative character of the project;
technical and economic feasibility of the project and territorial scope of the project (it will be valued that it covers different territorial areas of the municipality).
The body that will instruct the procedure for granting these subsidies will be the technical advice of the Treasury and Economy of the Department of Finance, Contracting and Heritage, while the Project Valuation Commission will be chaired by Isabel García.
All interested parties may submit their applications in the General Register of the City Council, in the Municipal Office of Information and Administrative Processing (OMITAS) or by any of the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, common administrative procedure for public administrations.
