Under the title 'From Classicism to the 20th Century' will take place tomorrow Thursday October 26 in the concert collaboration of the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena with the XII Meeting of the International Association of Cities and Entities of the Enlightenment, which is held in Cartagena these days.
The concert will be carried out by two of the founding members of the Orchestra, Alejandro Solano (marimba and vibraphone) and Cristina Sánchez (piano), who will interpret works of Classicism and S.XX.
The concert will be in the room Isaac Peral of the Faculty of Sciences of the Company of the UPCT at 20:00 hours with free entry to complete capacity.
The program designed for the occasion features pieces by Mozart, Clementi, Astor Piazzola, Thelonius Monk and Mark Glentworth.
The show will be performed by Cartageneros Cristina Sánchez and Alejandro Sola, members of the Young Symphony Orchestra, directed by Álvaro Pintado, and created in April 2016 by Álvaro Luis Valdesueiro Correa and a group of young musicians from Cartagena who seek to recover symphonic music orchestra for the city.
The concert is framed in the XII Meeting AICEI 2017, organized by the International Association of Cities and Entities of the Enlightenment and held in Cartagena from 26 to 28 October.
