The acting mayor, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the Councilor for the Quality of Life Area, Francisco Calderón, met this morning with members of the Association of AEMA Environment companies, led by its president, Daniel Robles, and the vice president José Nicolás.
At the meeting the members of the association have raised the problems they find in the recycling and care of the environment.
In addition they have proposed to the ediles the realization of activities organized jointly to encourage the recycling among the citizens and to make known their activity to the society.
The proposal has been welcomed with good disposition by the representatives of the Government Team, staying in contact to develop this initiative in concrete activities in the future.
It has also been asked to be part of the Environment Bureau of the City Council.
AEMA is a business association made up of companies whose corporate purpose is directly related to the environment.
Thus, it integrates dedicated partners from the transport, treatment and reuse of waste;
to services oriented to the care of the environment, such as law or environmental engineering.
