David Martínez emphasized during his speech that Deslinde is "the only one of its kind in the Region" and that it has already become "a reference" when it comes to the presence of poetry in the cultural programs of public administration .
Likewise, the mayor of Culture, who also holds the Equality portfolio, has stressed that, as is usual in the programs that are promoted from the council that runs, the agenda of Demlinde 2017 is true to the principle of gender equality and also the criterion of cultural diversity is very present.
In this same line has been pronounced Mery Salem, who believes that "this is a victory for all women who care about art, not only in what is Literature but in the artistic world in general."
The young poet has lamented, in this respect, that traditionally "always" has been given to women.
"Having a program in the hands where I see women seems to me to be a victory," said Salem, who congratulated the City of Cartagena and was grateful for it.
The poetess argued with a graphic example that she has not studied any woman in Literature or Primary or in ESO.
On the other hand, Antonio Marín has affirmed that the Deslinde 2017 "is a festival that surpasses the previous one" and has indicated that "the idea is always to transcend outside the Region" in relation to the acts that will take place outside the municipality.
"It's a program that I think is worth it and hopefully it will continue and that the projection will be long in time," he said.
