The Local Police of Cartagena acted this weekend in two cases, one of them related to an episode of gender violence, which resulted in the arrest of the alleged abuser, and the other corresponding to a crime against industrial property in whose intervention more than a hundred counterfeit products were destined for street vending.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena intervened in the afternoon of Sunday in a case of alleged gender violence in the Molinos Marfagones deputation.
The troops went to the site after receiving a notice of 112 that warned of a woman who was refugee in a settlement in the area and had been beaten by her husband the night before.
Besides, the guy had kicked her out.
According to the story, the husband allegedly struck her during a heated argument with a cane that broke her body and also broke her cell phone and then expelled her from the home.
The agents arrested the alleged perpetrator of the incident, 56 years old, and proceeded to instruct police investigations.
They also accompanied the victim to a medical facility to be treated for the injuries caused.
CRIME AGAINST INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
On the other hand, members of the municipal body confiscated in La Vaguada 105 imitation products intended for street vending.
Once all the products were confiscated, the agents proceeded to instruct police investigations for an alleged crime against industrial property.
