One hundred and twenty students, from St. Vincent Paul College, had the opportunity to meet and practice athletics at the Municipal Track of Athletics.
The activity is the first that is framed within the ADE Program of this course 2017-18.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sport of the Autonomous Community.
The coaches were Alfredo Castilla, Toñi López, Alberto Ferrer and Blanca Peñuelas, who carry out their professional activity in the CAElcano.
The training session began with a return to the track and a warm-up.
The students then made contact with the track to perform different tests such as: disc throwing, high jump, hurdles and speed.
In the final part of the session, the students have had the opportunity to meet Vicente Guardiola, champion of Spain of Decathlon.
The athlete has shared part of the morning with the little ones, with questions, anecdotes, etc.
Then gifts were distributed to the school San Vicente Paul, the Department of Sports among which was a t-shirt signed by athletes and monitors.
The newspaper ended with photographs of the young people with Guardiola and autograph signatures.
