Cartagena is from Friday to host a national meeting of Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the network hosting international students, which will involve a hundred and a half representatives of the 36 sections of the organization in Spain, with the presence of young people of Portugal and Sweden.
ESN has 40 members in Cartagena, a thousand in Spain and is the largest student association in Europe, present in almost fifty countries.
"Our goal is to help newly arrived Erasmus integrate and enjoy the society that welcomes them and also counter stereotypes by participating in volunteer activities and training," says the head of the organizing committee, Ignacio López-Cerón.
The event, which opens this Friday at 4 pm in the auditorium of the Faculty of Business Sciences of the UPCT, will serve to publicize Cartagena, its tourist and leisure offer, culture and regional cuisine to the young assistants from all over Spain.
