So clearly, the rector of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT), Alejandro Díaz Morcillo, was shown during the dialogue 'Visible Networks, Invisible Networks', in which he participated alongside the President of the Council of Strategy and Supervision of Aquae Foundation, Mariola Urrea, in the Aquae Campus that has been held in the Faculty of Enterprise Sciences of the UPCT.

In addition, Días Morcillo has stated that companies no longer only value their employees for the knowledge they have, but also because they have adequate skills such as entrepreneurship and teamwork.
In that sense, he recalled that the UPCT maintains a close relationship with companies through its Network of Chairs with the aim of achieving the employability of its graduates and for students' to maintain a relationship with the University over time '.
The Universidad Politécnica has also participated in Aquae Campus with other lectures by UPCT teachers such as Juan García Bermejo, coordinator of the Hydrogea Chair, who has dealt with the influence of climate change on the water cycle and how society is capable of adapt to that change.
The university professor has explained that the Region of Murcia is more adapted than other areas of Spain to manage scarce water resources, so that while in the European Union is reused on average 15% of water in the Region, the level of reuse of water exceeds 90%.
However, it has encouraged the continued use of resources to achieve a circular economy in which waste is avoided and resources optimized.
