Fundación Aquae e Hidrogea organized the IV edition of this forum for reflection and debate around the concepts 'Visible-Invisible'
The teaching on Youtube, the connection between music and brain or how the Universe originated will be discussed in more than 15 presentations of this event
The Faculty of Business of the University of Cartagena hosts Aquae Campus tomorrow, an event in which researchers, artists, thinkers and entrepreneurs will share ideas and projects transformers with the slogan 'The revolution of ideas'.
The fourth edition of this meeting for restless minds, promoted by Aquae e Hidrogea Foundation, revolves around the concepts 'Visible-Invisible'.
Attendees will be able to follow the interventions of more than 15 speakers;
among others, Luz Rello, linguist, doctor in Computational Science and social entrepreneur, who will tell us about his project, based on artificial intelligence, to end dyslexia;
Pablo Martínez Ruíz del Árbol, physicist at the European Laboratory of Elementary Particle Physics (CERN), which will help us understand the origin of the Universe;
David Calle, considered one of the ten best teachers in the world according to the Global Teacher Prize 2017, which will explain how it is taught through Youtube;
the neuroscience expert in music Miriam Albuscac, who will reveal the keys to the connection between music and brain;
New York-based publisher Valerie Miles, co-founder of the magazine Granta in Spanish;
or Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón, doctor in Mathematics and scientific monologue.
These brief and inspiring lectures will add to stimulating collaborative dialogues between experts from diverse fields, scientific monologues and interviews.
All this dynamized with interactive videos, perfomances and networking activities.
'The revolution of ideas' is the motto under which all the editions of Aquae Campus are celebrated.
The world of ideas works like water: every time we open a faucet we see the water coming out.
What we do not see is the road that has traveled and the work done to reach it.
The water is visible but the rest is not.
And this is precisely the theme on which Aquae Campus focuses this year in Cartagena: 'Visible-Invisible' or how behind every achievement or innovation there is a knowledge and a journey that our eyes can not see, but that leaves its mark on the elements that surround us.
As every year, Aquae Campus will have an experiential zone where the public can turn the invisible into visible, letting itself be carried by singular elements like a cube that in 120 seconds will change our vision on Earth;
a 3D painting that will take us to unknown depths;
or a chroma to choose by the user to immortalize their passage through this event.
The prizes of Aquae Foundation: 'Innova', 'Diseña', 'Tree of life', 'Photoaquae', 'Scientific micro-narratives' and 'Scientific monologues' will be presented during the day.
Aquae Campus is a place of encounter, reflection and debate.
A space for learning, sharing and dissemination of knowledge.
A talent lab.
A factory of new ideas and disruptive initiatives, in which restless and curious minds, entrepreneurs and innovators have their meeting point.
Access to this event is free (previous registration on the web).
On an annual basis, since 2014 Aquae Campus has been held in Las Palmas, Valladolid and Granada.
