The Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín, signed this morning agreements granting direct grants to four social action entities for 100,000 euros.
The beneficiaries of these grants are: Nursing Home, Home for Children, Caritas and the Marraja Foundation.
The Foundation of the Marraja Brotherhood has received a grant of 25,000 euros for the project of Residential Home for Older Persons, which until now was called Casa Betania, which houses ten people.
In the case of Hogar de la Infancia, the subsidy has been 15,000 euros, and it is intended for the holiday project aimed at the minors received in these facilities.
Caritas has received 25,000 euros for its Reception and Personalized Attention Service;
the Óbolo Project;
and the social eater Jesus, Teacher and Pastor.
Lastly, assistance to the Nursing Home, which runs the Little Sisters of the Poor, amounts to 35,000 euros, intended for the operation of this residential care center for elderly people without economic resources.
