More than 300 people participated in the Saturday afternoon at the first Solidarity March of Hispanidad organized by the Association of Neighbors of the Latin American Neighborhood for the benefit of Caritas of the Parish Maria Auxiliadora, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the San Antonio Catholic University.
The Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, participated in the start and had a few words for the participants, who did a course of more than 4 kilometers.
The march crossed the Campus that the UCAM has next to this neighborhood, where the University facilitated a victualling.
In addition, in the logistics of the march have helped students of the courses of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Nursing and Early Childhood Education and Primary that are taught in the facilities of the Catholic University in Cartagena.
This activity is part of the program of the patron saint festivities of the Latin American Barriada, which have been taken over this year after several unannounced annuities, and which have become a further example of the Catholic University of San Antonio's commitment to solidarity , sports and the city of Cartagena, where it also collaborates with the fiestas of Los Dolores, 15 NGOs and several sports teams.
