The Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) and the association of people with mental illness, Apices organize the European Day Friendly Beach, an inclusive tourist destination, to be held on October 19 at the Hotel Las Gaviotas de La Manga.
It is an event to make this initiative known to people interested in the project, both users and entrepreneurs.
It will feature the appearance of the acting mayor, Juan Pedro Torralba in the opening ceremony and welcome, at 10:30 hours, and the presence of the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín.
The representative of the European Inclusive Tourism Network, Anna Lisa Fuligni will be responsible for giving the framework paper to explain this initiative.
Next, two round tables will be held, the first will be the experiences of tourist clients, and the second will be presented the Friendly Beach Pilot Project and its results so far.
The day will conclude with the intervention of David Rivera, Director of the SOI Foundation of Hotels with Cognitive Accessibility and Solidarity Tourism.
The councilor of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Obdulia Gómez, and the president of Apices, Miguel Nieto, will close the day.
