The Consorcio Centro Comercial Abierto and the mobile application RushOut have presented this morning the collaboration agreement with the aim of boosting the commercial activity of the small businesses that make up the consortium.
An act in which the Deputy Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Patrimony, Isabel García, the President of the Open Commercial Center, Antonio Sánchez, and the representative of RushOut, Alfredo Ramón, intervened.
The council has indicated the willingness on the part of the City Council to favor any project that has as "objective to make a better municipality" and that is why from the institution collaborates with this initiative.
For its part, the president of Centro Comercial Abierto, has indicated that within the objective of the association to favor consumption in the small commerce of Cartagena, this application "can be a very good idea" both to boost the commercial activity among the people of Cartagena as well as among those who visit the city.
THE APPLICATION
The application presented this morning offers two modes of use, one for consumers and one for traders.
Users will be able to know through the application commercial and cultural offers always ordered by proximity in real time thanks to the mobile geolocation.
In addition it allows to restrict the view of offers to the category of products or services in which the user is interested or simply by offers in general.
On the other hand, when accessing the application as a trade, you can publish offers immediately by simply entering the data and an image of the same.
The trades or institutions will be able to determine the duration of the offer according to their interests, either a promotion or the intention to give out a stock.
Rushout can be obtained on Android and IOS mobile platforms, although only Android can be entered as a business.
Through the tools of analysis of big data and geolocation the application favors the visibility of the small commerce when ordering its offers by criteria of closeness.
The tool launches its service, for the moment, completely free of charge for traders who simply have to register with a trading profile and start publishing offers.
A TOOL FOR PEOPLE OF THE CITY AND TOURISTS
The company has launched two other pilot projects in Zaragoza and Murcia, although Alfredo Ramón has considered that the Cartagena project has a special interest in the arrival of cruises that bring to the city a large number of tourists on designated days.
The app is intended to promote consumption among these tourists, so that they can quickly and in Spanish know the commercial and cultural offerings of the city.
For this, informative vinyls will be installed at the cruise pier and in the streets, and will also be announced through people hired by Rushout on days of great tourist influx.
